Faith. Family. Freedom. 

These core principles have shaped who I am and continue to guide my life every day. I never built a career in politics. I’ve devoted my time to raising a family. And I’ve built a business right here in Laurens county.

My story is an American story.  As an eighth-generation South Carolinian, I grew up in a hard-working middle-class family, overcame learning disabilities and worked my way through college. 

I founded and grew a national environmental services company where I led a dedicated team of over 70 scientists, chemists, and technicians. Today, my focus has shifted to my farm—raising high-quality meat goats and sheep, producing specialty hays, and managing sustainable timber production.

I am a proud father and grandfather of two sons and two grandchildren. The family farm is in a conservation easement and will never be developed but will be protected for future generations. And just like the farm, I believe South Carolina is worth protecting.

None of this would have been possible without the Blessings of the Almighty. God has shown me great Love, Mercy and Grace.

I have also been proud to serve as your Laurens County Republican Party state executive committeeman. My collective experience launching and growing a business and now in farming, has taught me some valuable lessons:
